Excited to present a small project that I have been slowly working on for many many months. Life sure does throw some interesting curve balls your way, and I am grateful for the challenge to try and stay the course even when the world is going a little bonkers externally and internally. This piece was created for a dear artist sister of mine. Thank yew fir the inspiration. Here is a shoutout to the honey bees, and in this moment the majestic Queen Bee's of the world! We need you more than ever and they in turn need us to care. May we make the lives of all creatures as important as our own as we make decisions for the future. I see us living in a world in harmony with nature. May this totem be a token of love and devotion to the ones who bring us abundance in the form of food. She of course like me, has exotic taste in wood and charmed me into letting her use some of my most rare and precious woods. Well worth it I’d say!

Very excited to reveal what I’ve been working on lately. A handmade leather journal, heartily crafted for a magical being named Aluna.
Aluna in Kogi (an indigenous ethnic group that live in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta mountains in northern Colombia) means the mother of thought, the force behind nature, the energy that animates life and that is also the inspiration behind this piece.
The front cover is adorned with an extremely rare Burmese Rose wood ( oval shaped centre piece) and a very special African black wood ( four crystal shaped side pieces pointing in four cardinal directions).
The cover itself is made from African buffalo and cow leather, fitted with waxed thread and brass accessories. The method I used to bind the journal is a medieval bookbinding technique that has been used throughout the centuries up to the present.
It’s been a great pleasure and a wonderful experience to craft this unique journal.

So excited to watch Sanax Sz progress with her leatherwork! I’ve been honoured to help her blend leather and wood! Such a winning combination! She barely need my help on this, except for convincing me to part with some of my most precious and rare Siamese Rosewood! The brass fittings give it a nice touch.

I see it as a way of loosening our grip during transition or great challenges. A way to flow under pressure. To allow an emergence of new and profound transitions to take place during life...or in between

Wood up! A long time coming to get all of us in the shop together fir some mulch needed connection time. Even made time to crush out a piece in a few days. All hands on board for this one.
Presenting our Sri Yantra (or Tree Yantra) depending on your dialect.
The symbols representing Cosmic Unity ~ The Divine Union of the Masculine & Feminine

This symbol is over 12,000 years old and has been an honour to work with again.
And as always no stains or colourings were used in the making of this piece. Just the magical natural colours of the woods.
Outstanding job by Christopher James Boux @c.j.boux and Kyle Vibes @kylevibes on creating this piece with ease.
